Un cutremur cu magnitudinea 6,5 (MWW) s-a produs sâmbătă, 29 ianuarie 2022, la ora 04:46 (ora României), în Kermadec Islands. Hipocentrul a fost localizat la 8,0 km adâncime, ceea ce îl face un cutremur superficial.
Poate produce pagube în zonele locuite din apropiere.
Potrivit USGS, 2 persoane au raportat că au simțit cutremurul.
